We look forward to welcoming you and your team to our 2012 Light The Night Walks!  As you prepare for the big night please keep these helpful tips in mind.

Carpooling is a great way to travel on walk night!  It allows your team to arrive as a group and also helps to maximize parking for our many supporters.

Although we love our furry friends, we do ask that you leave pets at home for the evening for the safety of all walkers.  Thank you for your cooperation!

We plan a flat walk route for all events to ensure that wheelchairs, strollers and wagons for loved ones are easily used.  We do discourage the use of bicycles and motorized vehicles as we value the safety of our walkers and heroes above all else.

Drop off your funds before the big day and avoid lines on walk night!  LLS staff and volunteers will award Champions for Cures Wristbands and T-shirts at these convenient locations.

Weather Information

Light The Night Walks will take place rain or shine, but in case of extreme or unsafe conditions, this site will be updated by 3:00 p.m. with any cancellation information. 

In the event of a cancellation, an LLS Staff person will contact all Team Captains and individual walkers (not walking on a team).  Please make arrangements with your Team Captain for communication in the event of a cancellation.
