Mike Webber was a normal 5 year old when he was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia. His family quickly got involved with the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society in Des Moines Iowa where he lived at the time. He began participating in chapter events like Team In Training, Light The Night, and was Boy of The Year for the Man & Woman of The Year campaign. After a long treatment he is now cancer free, living in San Diego, and a Professional Technical Recruiter for TEKsystems. He is a long time survivor and attributes that to LLS and the advances we have developed in treatments.
