Ayla

ALL survivor

Shoreview, MN

  • Print
Just three months before Ayla’s second birthday, she got a cold that wouldn’t go away. After two weeks of a runny nose and cough, Ayla was brought in to see the family doctor. Her hemoglobin was dangerously low so Ayla was taken to the hospital by ambulance. A bone marrow biopsy confirmed Ayla had acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL). Ayla began a two and a half year treatment plan that ended in April 2015. Now, Ayla is in remission! She is a happy six year old who loves her family, unicorns and coloring and her favorite color is pink!
