Enhance employee morale • Encourage teamwork • Generate goodwill in the community • Support employees who have been touched by cancer •
Light The Night supports The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s mission to fund lifesaving research to find blood cancer cures. Over 100 companies in the DC, Maryland and Northern Virginia area participated in Light The Night in 2020. Participation helps to build employee engagement, teamwork, and support employees who have been touched by cancer. There are many different ways for companies to get involved and we will work with you to come up with the best fit for your company.
Light The Night offers your company the opportunity to target responsive audiences and build equity with a proven brand at a national, regional, or local level. For additional information on sponsorship opportunities for our 2021 Light The Night Walks, contact Jessica Allison at Jessica.Allison@lls.org
Form a Corporate Team
As a Corporate Light The Night Team, you can make a difference in the lives of millions of people who have been touched by blood cancers. The funds raised by your company will be invested in critical cancer research, patient services, and community outreach programs to help enhance, prolong, and save the lives of blood cancer patients. Rally your employees around an important cause and participate in our Executive Corporate Challenge!
Become a Retail Partner
Partnering with Light The Night and mobilizing your customer base is a great way to show your customers that you are committed to helping people in the communities where you do business.
Make an In-Kind Donation
Whether it is a small gift card or enough food to feed our walkers, we rely on in-kind donations to enhance our Walks and encourage fundraising! Every dollar we can save on these items is one more dollar we put toward our mission.
Does your employer offer a matching gifts program? Matching gifts are one of the simplest ways employees can double, or even triple, the impact of their fundraising efforts.
It takes an army of volunteers to make Light The Night a successful and memorable event. Volunteers are needed for event preparations and walk night logistics. Volunteers also represent LLS as retail ambassadors and through our other campaigns throughout the year. To volunteer, click here.
