Central Florida Light The Night Update!
Orlando Light The Night Participants - The weather may not have cooperated, but it didn't dampen our spirits or our drive to cure cancer for people like our Honored Hero Elyse Jasmund Starling. While the Central Florida Walk was cancelled, our important work of finding a cure for blood cancer continues. Events and activities planned for our walkers and teams can be found at http://pages.lightthenight.org/ncfl/Orlando16 and include:
Turn your office, neighborhood or school into a virtual walk. Please wear your Light The Night shirt, light your lantern, decorate your banner, and walk at a place & time of your choosing and SEND US THE VIDEO and PHOTOS. Please submit all videos and photos to email@example.com by November 21st. We will share all of the videos and photos at the Light The Night Celebration & Awards Event.

SAVE THE DATE Wednesday, December 7
We will continue fundraising for a cure until November 28th. Come and celebrate with all Champions for Cures, Bright Lights, Sponsors and top donors at our Light The Night Celebration & Awards event at the Cox Radio Studio on Wednesday, December 7th at 6 p.m. Awards will be handed out based on final fundraising totals at the end of the day on November 28th.
If you plan to attend a walk in another city, please take your Central Florida t-shirt and lantern, and let our Campaign Director, Tammy White-Helenthal (firstname.lastname@example.org) know you are Walking.
