Planning Committee
This committee plays a vital role in the planning and implementation of the Light The Night Walk.
Pre-event In-house Volunteers
In-house support is needed throughout the year. Opportunities include mailings, stuffing packets, filing, collating and other general office support.
Night of Volunteer
As you can imagine, it takes a tremendous number of volunteers to make the Light The Night Walk run smoothly. Volunteers are needed to assist in areas such as set-up and break-down, check-in, cheer stations, water stops, route guides, team photos, mission tent, incentives and other areas.
Gold Balloons
If an individual walker or a team is walking in memory of someone who lost his/her battle with blood cancer, a gold balloon can be carried in memory of that person. Gold balloons must be reserved BEFORE the night of the walk. There will be NO extra gold balloons for request at the walk. It is one Gold Balloon per team and you don't need to allocate $25 for your team to carry a gold balloon but you must reserve it at least two days prior to the walk.
