Light The Night is The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's (LLS) international evening fundraising walk to celebrate & commemorate lives touched by cancer. Light The Night supports LLS's mission to cure leukemia, lymphoma, hodgkin's disease & myeloma and improve the quality of life for patients & their families.
WE NEED YOU!
The Western & Central NY Chapter serves a roster of over 4,000 patients. Your fundraising efforts help make it possible to fund vital patient services, like peer counseling, patient financial aid, four local research projects, advocacy & so much more!

Each team, team member & individual walker will receive their own online fundraising website upon registering. The most success comes when you get an early start on fundraising. Summer is right around the corner and there are so many opportunities in those warm months. You can have a garage sale, car wash, game night, etc - get creative & have fun! Until the weather breaks, here are some tips to get your fundraising started on the right foot:
» Send out an email blast to everyone you know - share your personal connection & why you're walking
» Post your online fundraising link on Facebook, Twitter, Linked In, Pinterest, etc.
» Text your link out to all of your contacts
BE A CHAMPION FOR CURES
Each participant is asked to raise $100 or more to become a Champion For Cures and will receive the following benefits the night of the Walk:
» An official Light The Night Walk t-shirt
» An illuminated Light The Night balloon in red (supporters), white (survivors) or gold (in loving memory of a loved one)
» A wristband which entitles the wearer to a variety of food and refreshments
