Here are some tools to help you build your Light The Night Walk team and raise funds. There are sample letters and emails, success stories from other teams and fundraiser "how to's" that provide you with ideas and step by step instructions. If there is something you need and don't find here, please ask your chapter staff. We are here to help you!
Remember, every walker can make a difference! Recruit people to join your team. Ask each of them to raise $100 or more to become a Champion For Cures! Together, we can beat cancer! Thank you for your support of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.
Team Captain Mentoring Program:
Want advice and helpful tips about forming a team and fundraising?! The Light The Night staff will match you with another Light The Night Team Captain who has experience with a variety of recruitment and fundraising techniques and is familiar with the Walk. Your mentor will serve as a guide for you throughout the Light The Night season and give you support along the way. Although the Light The Night staff is ALWAYS here to help, we understand that sometimes it's easier to discuss your questions and concerns with a fellow volunteer.
