What is the different between a Walk Route Sign and a Mile Marker?
-
Mile Markers are larger and will be displayed more prominently along the route. They serve primarily as a way to recognize our donors, whereas the Walk Route signs serve primarily as a tribute to those we are walking and fundraising for.
-
Mile Markers can be sold to both businesses and individuals, and the money from the sales goes back to your team's fundraising total! Mile Markers are ideal for local businesses that may not be able to do a full sponsorship, but still want to get exposure and recognition for their donation.
-
Mile Markers can be purchased by any business, though, and even by individuals who want to recognize their loved one along the route.
Please click here to download the Mile Marker Order Form and to learn more about the different levels of Mile Marker Opportunities. We encourage you to distribute this form to all your team members and throughout the community. If you have any questions, contact Emily Genzlinger at emily.genzlinger@lls.org or (914) 821-8997.
Paper Balloon Icons
Light The Night can provide you with paper balloon icon pads, which can be sold by local businesses or within your own office! Paper balloon icons can be sold for $1, $5, or however much the donor is willing to give!
To learn more about the paper balloon icons and order your own icon kit, which provides you with all the materials you need to get the campaign started, please click here or contact Antonella Leone at antonella.leone@lls.org or (914) 821-8267.
