Why get involved in the Light The Night Clubs for a Cure event?

“I got involved with LLS when I learned that my dad, Mark, had been diagnosed with multiple myeloma.  After experiencing the initial fear of that diagnosis, I learned of the nearly miraculous advancements in treatment that have been made in a relatively short period of time. 

LLS does an exceptional job of education, but also fundraising to continue enhancing the treatment of blood-based cancers.  I’m happy to say that my dad is now in full response due in no small part to the diligent work of LLS and other organizations involved in the fight.  It is an honor to say I do an extremely fractional part in that fight and encourage everyone to do the same.”
