Honored Patients

Our 2011 Light The Night Walk Inspirations

At each of our Walks, we honor local blood cancer patients, our inspirations.

Leukemia remains the most common form of cancer diagnosed in children. In 1964, a child under the age of five diagnosed with Acute Mymphoblastic Leukemia had a 3% survival rate. Thanks to your dedication and support, today that same child has a survival rate of 91.2%!

She loves to dress up in princess dresses and high heels and cannot leave the house without a fashionable bow to match her outfit. On the other hand, she loves having an older brother who exposes her to boy things like his t-ball set to practice hitting her home runs.
