Elizabeth is spirited child with a twin brother and two older siblings. Everything seemed to be going right in their family until March 14, 2017, when Elizabeth was diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL).
The first few months of Elizabeth’s diagnosis was tough on the whole family. With school age kids and a toddler (Elizabeth’s twin) at home, the family was not only worried about saving Elizabeth’s life but also being there with their other kids and keeping their lives as normal as possible. Ten months after diagnosis, Elizabeth has started maintenance and things are slowly returning to normal for her family.
A note from Elizabeth’s mom, “Elizabeth's life was saved because of people that donated years before her diagnosis, and so the money raised now will save the lives of children who may not even be born yet. Your gift can have a lifelong impact on generations to come because of the research it support.”
