Meet the 2018 Cincinnati Light The Night Honored Hero, Auden!

Meet Auden, our 2018 Cincinnati Light The Night Honored Hero!  Auden was diagnosed with T-Cell ALL in May, 2015...one month after he and his twin sister, Emery, turned 3 years old.  While his treatment will continue until August of this year, Auden is in REMISSION!  Being the outdoor family that they are, Auden loves doing activities such as four-wheeling, driving his Papa's boat, swimming, skiing, hiking and playing soccer.  He also loves building and experimenting!  Despite all of the fun activities Auden loves and has been able to enjoy during his treatment, it has also been difficult for Auden at times.  He's had blood stream infections, sepsis, anaphylactic reactions, kidney stones, and broken bones, just to name a few.  He even just recently broke his foot!  Despite how difficult treatment has been at times, Auden is very resilient.  Even though he's had some very scary moments, he's been able to bounce back at lightning speed.  Most importantly, his spirit has stayed strong and intact and he's still the happy boy his parents and sister always knew him to be.  Auden is super excited to be the Honored Hero this year, and can't wait for his family and friends to join him at Light The Night on October 11, 2018!
