The Light The Night Walk is The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's annual fundraising event, and takes place in over 200 cities across the country.  The Light The Night Walk celebrates and commemorates lives touched by blood cancers.  Form a team and raise funds to make a difference and help patients with cancer live better, longer lives.  All walks are leisurely paced and approximately 2 miles.  We walk rain or shine.  The Walks are all stroller and wheelchair friendly, however, no bikes please.  Registration opens at 5:30 p.m., and the Walk Program starts at 7:00 which is kicked off by the Survivor Parade.  Please arrive well before 7:00 to check in, meet up with your team, eat, and enjoy the evening!

Pre-Walk line-up includes food, refreshments, entertainment, and a kids area.  This year, there will not be an official Remembrance Ceremony, however, we will have the Reflection of Life Tent for participants to stop by if they are walking in memory of someone.  Light a candle, sign the banner with a special quote, see the pictures, and simply pray and/or reflect.  To have your loved one's picture displayed in the Reflection Of Life Tent, please email a JPEG Tiffany Hoover at tiffany.hoover@lls.org, at least 2 days before the Walk you are participating in.  The 2nd annual Survivor's Parade, will take place at approximately 7:00, right before the program.  We invite all blood cancer survivors and patients to take place in this inspirational parade.  Walkers will be directed to meet at the OHC/Mercy Health Tent at the Cincinnati Walk, and at the Mission Tent, at the Dayton Walk, for the start of the parade.  This is also where you will get your cape for the parade.

All registered walkers who raise $100 will become Champions For Cures, and receive their commerative T-Shirt, and illuminated keepsake lantern.  We encourage our participants to strive for a fundraising goal of $1,000 and become a Bright Lights Club member!  Bright Lights receive an exclusive dri-fit, long sleeve shirt, entrace into the VIP tent included upscale food, and an invitation to the Awards Party in February.
