When a family or friend is diagnosed with blood cancer, we all want to do something to make a difference. Participating in a Light The Night Walk is a positive and inspirational way to support or remember your family member or friend. Teams raise money to help fund research and patient services, and they celebrate and commemorate lives touched by leukemia, lymphoma and myeloma. Light The Night Walks are evenings filled with hope and inspiration.

Friends & Family teams can be a group of family, friends, or community members who invite everyone they know to join them to fundraise and walk together.  Teams can be close-knit collections of family and friends walking in honor or memory of a family member, a high school group walking for a fellow student or for the cause, a mom's group, an association of city governmental officials, or a social group looking for a fun activity to do together. 

Friends & Family teams fundraise in ways that demonstrate their team's personality.  They hold soccer tournaments, 5k runs, exercise classes, raffles, yard sales, restaurant gatherings, and picnics.  They write letters and emails to their address books, asking for support.  They sell jewelry and bake goods to co-workers, friends and the community.
