Light The Night will return to the York Beach Ball Field on Saturday, October 4, 2008.
You have the chance to be part of something great. The Society is the world's largest voluntary health organization dedicated to finding cures for blood cancers. The Society is investing millions of dollars in the most promising blood cancer research available and seeing tangible results that improve the quality of life of patients and their familes. Because of Light The Night, we are one step closer to a cure.

York Walk Directions:
From the South:
Take 95 North to the Maine Turnpike. (I-95 becomes the Maine Turnpike just after Portsmouth Bridge.) Take exit 7and bear right exiting the ramp. At the first light, turn left onto Route 1, following the signs to York Beach. Go 3 miles, then turn right onto Rt. 1A. Go 1-½ miles into the center of the town of York Beach. You will see the fire department on your left and the York Beach Ball Field (the start of the Walk) on your right. Parking is located near the Ball Field. Note: The Walk finish is across the street at Ellis Park on Short Sands Beach. Route via the nubble lighthouse.
From the North:
Take 95 South to 295 South via exit 103 towards ME-9/Gardiner/ME-126/Brunswick. Merge back onto 95 South to the Maine Highway. Take exit 7 towards US-1/Yorks/ME-91/The Berwicks and turn left at the end of the ramp. Turn left onto US-1/Blue Star Memorial Highway. Go three miles and turn right onto Route 1A. Go 1 1/2 miles into the center of town of York Beach. You will see the fire department on your left and the York Beach Ball Field on your right. Parking is located near the Ball field.
