The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society of Canada's Light The Night® Walk is a 5 km twilight walk that features participants carrying illuminated balloons to celebrate and commemorate lives touched by cancer. Cancer supporters carry red balloons, while cancer survivors carry white balloons. Together, they "light the night" and truly brighten the future for millions touched by cancer.

No, there is no registration fee and no fundraising minimum. We encourage participants to make a donation or raise $25, if they would like to carry a balloon. In 2006, our average participant raised $300 and our average team raised $2,900. Set your fundraising goal high and you can certainly achieve it.
