Are you interested in doing more than walking and fundraising?  Then the logistics planning committee is for you!  Help plan the details of the Walk, help secure in-kind donations, help make the event even better!!  This committee typically meets the second Wednesday of every month, April - October

From Route 30 Bypass (and points West): Take Route 30 Bypass East to Route 202 North. Go 7.6 miles to the Chesterbrook Blvd. exit. Follow signs for Wilson Farm Park.

From Route 202 North & South: Take the Chesterbrook Blvd. exit. Follow signs for Wilson Farm Park.

GARY W. SMITH & TIMOTHY D. CONNOR
CHESTER COUNTY ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT COUNCIL

 Gary W. Smith, a graduate of West Chester University with a Master of Arts degree, began his economic development career in January 1976 as Assistant Director with the Chester County Development Council and Chester County Industrial Development Authority (CCIDA).  In March of 1979, he was promoted to Executive Director, a position he still holds.  Gary also serves as Executive Director of the CCIDA and Central and Western Chester County Industrial Development Authority (C&WIDA).  As President and CEO of the CCEDC, Mr. Smith is responsible for continuing the economic well being of Chester County by providing a variety of economic development services to county business.

Timothy D. Connor, Senior Director, is responsible for gaining corporate support to help fund the operating expenses of the CCEDC and assist companies coming in to the county and/or remaining in the county.  Since joining the Council in 2003, Mr. Connor has increased corporate sponsorship by over 150 new companies through the Council's new Membership Program.  Mr. Connor is a Penn State University graduate and currently resides with his family in Berwyn, Chester County.

Chester County Economic Development County is a non-profit, private economic development organization with no governmental affiliations.  The organization was created in 1960 by the business community for the purpose of nurturing and promoting economic development and growth in Chester County.  The mission of the Council is to encourage and promote the smart economic growth and prosperity of Chester County.
