Bristol-Myers Squibb

Bristol-Myers Squibb Bristol-Myers Squibb (BMS) has returned for the third year as National Presenting Sponsor for The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s Light The Night Walk. BMS has a long history of supporting cancer patient programs and greatly values their partnership with LLS. With similar missions of helping patients with life threatening diseases, BMS and LLS are a tremendous team. We look forward to having the involvement of their employees and management at walks throughout the United States and Canada.

In addition to their Light The Night Walk sponsorship, Bristol-Myers Squibb is providing extensive support for patient education and outreach programs including:

  • National teleconference programs on chronic myelogenous leukemia (CML)
  • Clinical Trials Web cast and chapter-based education programs
  • CML educational printed and online educational materials
  • Patient Navigation

Light The Night is The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s nationwide evening walk held in more than 240 locations throughout the United States and Canada. Walkers carry illuminated balloons to celebrate and commemorate lives touched by cancer. Your participation will help save lives. Join us in our fight against blood cancers as we “light the night” with hope and raise funds to find cures. Light the Night Walk events will be held throughout September and October 2008.

Anyone can participate. Children, adults and seniors are all welcome. This is a casual walk with no fitness requirements. Funds raised will support The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s mission to cure blood cancers and to improve the quality of life of patients and their families.

Oh behalf of Bristol-Myers Squibb employee family and friends, thank you for your participation and support.
