The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society of Canada's Light The NightÒ Walk is an international fundraising campaign to commemorate and celebrate lives touched by blood cancers. Light The Night is a 5km evening walk with participants carrying illuminated balloons. Cancer supporters carry red balloons, while cancer survivors carry white balloons. Gold balloons are carried to honour the memory of those who have lost their battle with a blood cancer.
Together, these balloons "light the night" and brighten the future for the millions touched by cancer.
More than a walk, the evening includes music, food, entertainment and family activities. The walk is open to everyone - there is no fitness level to participate and no entry fee.
Funds raised support our mission: Cure leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin's disease and myeloma, and improve the quality of life of patients and their families.
Your participation will help save lives. Please join us in our fight against blood cancers as we light the night with hope and raise funds to find cures.
