Welcome to the South Carolina Chapter's Light the Night Website!

Light The Night is a nationwide two-three mile evening walk to commemorate lives touched by cancer and to raise awareness of blood cancers. Anyone can participate - children, adults and seniors are all welcome! This is a casual walk with no fitness requirements. Walkers will carry illuminated balloons - white for survivors and red for supporters.  Funds raised by our participants support The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society in its mission to cure leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin's disease and myeloma and to improve the quality of life of patients and their families.

The South Carolina Chapter of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society holds 5 walks across the state each fall in the following cities:  Charleston, Columbia, Greenville, Myrtle Beach, and Rock Hill. Please join us in our fight against blood cancers as we light the night with hope and raise funds to find a cure! Your participation will help save lives.

In 2008 the South Carolina Chapter of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society raised over $300,000 for blood cancer research and patient services through its Light The Night Walks! Thank you for your support!
