Help us make our New Mexico/El Paso Chapter
Light The Night® Walks a success!
As a key part of our mission, the Light The Night Walk is The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's premier local fundraising event. You can be part of it and help us to find a cure for blood cancer.
Anyone can participate. Children, adults and seniors are all welcome. Walkers carry illuminated balloons to celebrate and commemorate lives touched by all forms of cancer. Funds raised support our mission: Cure leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin's disease and myeloma, and improve the quality of life of patients and their families.
Your participation in future walks will help save lives. Please bring family, friends, and co-workers to join us in our fight against blood cancers as we "light the night" with hope. This is a casual walk with no additional training or fitness requirements.
See below for our local 2008 Walks:
- Albuquerque on Saturday, September 20, 2008, at Civic Plaza
- El Paso, presented by The Center for Integrative Cancer Medicine on Saturday, October 11, 2008 at Ascarate Park
