What is Light The Night?
The Light The Night Walk is The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's nationwide two-to-three mile, non-competitive evening walk to celebrate and commemorate lives that have been touched by cancer. Participants carry illuminated balloons - white for survivors and red for supporters. More than a walk, the evening includes music, food and family activities. Light The Night is open to all - it does not require a particular fitness level.
Funds raised through The Light The Night Walk support The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s (LLS) mission: Cure leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin’s disease and myeloma, and improve the quality of life of patients and their families. LLS is the world’s largest voluntary health organization dedicated to funding blood cancer research and providing education and patient services. Since it's founding in 1949, the Society has invested more than $600 million in research specifically targeting leukemia, lymphoma and myeloma.
Join us for a special evening where hope doesn't just flicker…it floats!
