Welcome to the Central New York Chapter
The Light The Night Walk is The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's nationwide evening walk to raise awareness of blood cancers and funds for cures.
Participants carry illuminated balloons to celebrate and commemorate lives touched by cancer. Supporters of those with blood cancers carry red balloons, while patients and survivors carry white balloons. Funds raised support the Society's mission: Cure leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin's disease and myeloma, and improve the quality of life of patients and their families.
Your participation saves lives in our community and across the world. Funds raised by Light The Night walkers enable the Society to locally implement the Society's mission by providing support, education and direct financial aid to patients and their families, and investing in research that will one day help patients in our community.
Anyone can take part in Light The Night. Children, adults and seniors are all welcome. This is a casual walk with no fitness requirements.
Please join National Chairperson Cynthia Nixon, and walkers throughout the country as we "light the night" with hope and fight blood cancers!
