Plan with your team where you will meet night of the walk – possible places to meet your team:

  • By the Balloon tent
  • By the incentives tables
  • By the Mission tent
  • At the Team Photo area
  • By the stage
  • Or contact the Light The Night staff for additional help

Bring your Collection Envelope:   Everyone is required to hand in a Collection Envelope, including any funds raised. If you raised funds online, you are still required to turn in this envelope, even if empty. 

5:30pm - Check-in

If you have your envelope follow the Have Collection Envelope sign.

If you do not have your envelope or have not registered…follow the Do Not Have Collection Envelope sign to either the Will Call (Pre-Registered But Do Not Have Envelope) lane or Have Not Registered Yet lane at Check-in.

Express Check-in: If you have participated Early Check-in in you can pass through the Express Check-in area, but don’t forget to wear your red event-day bracelet!

Bright Lights Members Only Check-in: If you have individually raised $1,000 or more, you can go to the designated Bright Lights Members Only at Check-in. You will receive your special Bright Lights Club long-sleeved t-shirt here.

Areas of Interest at the walk:

Mission Area: Stop by the Mission Area to pick up an “I’m walking for” shirt sign that you can personalize, have your photo taken for our Picture of Hope, post your story on our Lights of Hope Board or stop by to purchase raffle tickets. 

Food Area: Beverages and light snacks will be provided night of the walk. Please look for the area designated Food & Beverage.

Entertainment: A DJ will provide music and there will be miscellaneous performances.

6:15pm - Remembrance Ceremony: This fifteen minute ceremony will allow walkers the opportunity to honor and remember loved ones lost, and will commence at 6:15pm. The ceremony will take place past the bathrooms to the right, near the picnic tables, and the area will be clearly identified.

6:45pm - Opening Ceremony: The opening ceremony for the walk will begin at approximately 6:45pm on the main stage.

7:00pm – Walk Starts! You will see a START/FINISH line sign that marks to starting point of the walk route. The walk route will be marker by arrows and there will be a turn-around area.

 You can continue to fundraise and turn in money even after night of the walk: We are asking everyone to raise a minimum of $25 before or after the walk to help support the fight against blood cancers, however, the average walker raises more than $300! Remember, even after the walk, you have until November 21st to qualify for great incentives!
