Patrick Keal

Alex Kron

Patrick is a 21 year old senior communications major at the University of Kentucky. Originally from Louisville, Kentucky, he attended Trinity High School in Louisville where he wrestled for four years and ran cross country for two. He is a member of the Phi Kappa Tau fraternity and currently holds the title of Interfraternity Council President.

Patrick  was diagnosed with Burkitts lymphoma on July 3, 2006, the summer after his sophomore year, and received treatment until January 2007. He is currently returning to the Markey Cancer Clinic once every two months for blood work and follow up exams. Once every six month he has a bone marrow biopsy and CT scan but as of now the lymphoma is still in remission.

Alex was diagnosed last summer with leukemia (ALL) and has bravely been battling his disease with chemotherapy since then.

He loves football, baseball, and basketball as well as playing with firetrucks.
