This section of our website is designed to introduce you, the participants, to the fundraising programs Light The Night has to offer. 

We are so excited you have decided to be a part of Light the Night 2008. Fundraising is often approached as a tedious and difficult task, but we hope that through the information and ideas we have to share, it will become a fun and an enjoyable experience. We are here to help! We have included resources and information about how to organize a fundraising activity or an event along with tips on how to keep costs down, what to consider in taking on an event, who to contact and much more. If there is anything else you need, we want to know. Keep us involved.

We are happy to continue our Top Fundraising Clubs, open to all walkers who take that extra step and raise $1,000 or more.  Members of all of our clubs will receive special recognition and exclusive gifts:

• Personalized support from the Light The Night Walk Staff  
• Recognition in Light The Night newsletters and websites
• Invitation to a Post-Walk Thank You Party

• Bright Lights Club members have pledged to single-handedly raise a minimum of $1,000 each.
• Shining Stars Club includes fundraisers who raise between $5,000 and $9,999.
• Winner’s Circle Club, the highest caliber fundraiser, are individuals who raise $10,000 or more.

You CAN make a difference!

By joining a Top Fundraising Club, your contributions can provide all of the following:

• Access for 20 patients to an informational teleconference about their specific blood cancer
• Educational program to 40 teachers to assist with a child's return to school after cancer treatment
• Training for 25 peer volunteers who can provide emotional support to newly diagnosed patients
• Two patients can receive patient financial aid
