What is a walk team? It's a group of four or more individuals (friends, family, co-workers, clubs, school groups etc.) who want to walk together in Light The Night.

What makes a team special? Walking as a team can make the experience of Light The Night extra special and  really fun because you will be sharing it with the important people in your life.  Participants walking as part of a team generally raise more money for the cause!

How can I fundraise with a team? Your team will be given their own on-line web page, so everyone on the team can see who has joined and how much the team has raised. You can also hold fundraisers together (bake sales, BBQs, wristband and bear sales, 50/50 draws at work, car wash, etc) and split any of the revenue between team members. Each team member will also receive their own pledge collection envelope and on-line fundraising webpage.

* Last year, the average team raised over $2,500!

Are there incentives for teams?  Yes, please click here to view the team incentives for 2008. Any team raising $2,000 or more will receive a professionally printed team banner.  A photographer will also be at the walk taking team photos, which will be e-mailed to team captains. Click here for a complete list of Team Incentives.

Please Note: All other incentives including t-shirts, hoodies, and gift cards are earned on an individual participant basis and cannot be substituted.
