Volunteer Opportunities

A sucessful event could never happen without the support and hard work of our volunteers. There are several volunteer opportunities available in the South Texas Chapter for the Light The Night^® Walk.  There are three types of volunteer opportunities offered : special events participant, special events volunteer and in-house volunteer.

Special Events Participant

Help support the Society's mission to cure blood cancers by joining the Light The Night Walk as an event participant.  Walk as an individual or get your friends, relatives and coworkers involved by forming a walk team.  

Special Events Volunteer

We need volunteers to help with the execution of Light the Night , which may include set-up, registration, team photos, directing along the route, and working various other areas. A special events volunteer is needed on the night of the Walk in the fall. 

In-house Volunteer

Our in-house opportunities include mailings, stuffing packets, filing and general office support.   In-house support is needed throughout the year.
