We Still Need Your Help!

We still need your help in reaching our goal of $250,000.

As you may be aware, recently The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society increased the amount of patient financial aid from $500 to $5,000! Now, patients can get help with their treatment costs up to $5,000 per year. However, to help support the increase in patient financial aid, we need to work toward hitting our goal. Remember, your online fundraising pages will be active until the end of January 2009. You can also mail in donations to:

Here are a few items to remember when wrapping up your campaign: 

1)  Send out one last email to your contact list to share what a great time at the walk you had.  Also, thank them for supporting you and the cause, and let them know how close your are to your goal.  If they haven't given yet, your online fundraising will remain open until December 1 to accept donations.

2)  Check for matching gifts.  Do you or your team members work for a company who has a matching gifts program?  If so, get the company's matching gift form to the LLS Office and we can handle it from there.  That is an easy way to double your donations.

3)  Burlington Coat Factory stores are a National Partner with Light The Night.  Each of their stores are selling paper balloons until November 30 for $1.  In Michigan alone, they have sold over 30,000 paper balloons.  So if you are in a Burlington Coat Factory, support Light The Night by purchasing a paper balloon.
