Forming a team for a Light The Night® Walk is easy and rewarding. Whether your team is made up of friends, family, or co-workers, the Western North Carolina Chapter staff will provide you with all of the information, materials and support you need to be successful.
Friends & Family Teams
Form a team; you can do it! Ask seven or more friends to join you, form a team, choose a name and start fundraising! Challenge your team to beat the local fundraising average of $250 per person and earn great incentive prizes.
Corporate or Workplace Teams
Does your company have team spirit? Companies of all sizes are encouraged to form teams. Forming a team of employees and their families is a great way to boost company morale and increase community visibility. It also builds teamwork, generates excitement and encourages friendly competition. Corporate teams are eligible for corporate team benefits.
Clubs & Organizations Teams
Do you belong to a local church, youth group, Chamber of Commerce, cheerleading team, etc.? If so, you can form a Clubs and Organization Team with the others in your group!

Register yourself first. You can register online or fill out the brochure entry form. Make sure to check the box that reads 'please send me information about forming a team.' If you would like immediate assistance in forming a team, please contact us.

Recruit coworkers, friends and family to join your team. Team members register themselves individually, either online or by filling out the brochure entry form.

A team is any group of seven or more people who each turn in $100 or more in donations.

Team members' fundraising amounts will be added to their team totals and will aslo count toward their individual fundraising totals.
