This year's Light The Night Honoured Hero is Geoff Mitchell.

Geoff, and his girlfriend Melissa, have been exceptional supporters of the Society and Light The Night. Having survived leukemia, not once, but TWICE, Geoff is now in remission, back to work, and volunteering his time on the Victoria Light The Night organizing committee. His personal perseverance and positive attitude are extremely admirable.
