Recruit friends, family, co-workers, and anyone else you know to join your team.
Set up your personal fundraising page after registering and email them immediately!

Select a team name and meet with your team members to set fundraising goals.
Is everyone going to raise money on their own or will you work together?
Do you want to raise $100, $1,000 or more?

Make sure all of your team members register online or by using the registration form on the back
of the Light The Night Walk brochure and return it by mail or fax.
Once you have registered, you will
receive the Team Captain Kit. Give each fundraising individual a welcome walker letter, a brochure,
   and a walker collection envelope.

Start fundraising today. Challenge each member to surpass the national average of $200
per person. Brainstorm to come up with creative fundraisers or initiate a few of our suggestions.

Gather the walker collection envelopes from your team members and place them in the large team
   collection envelope.
Be sure to carefully fill out the outside of the envelope.

Be sure to note if a team member's employer participates in a matching gift program. If they do,
make sure to indicate this on the team envelope. Have them get the matching gift form from their
employer and include it in their envelope.

We suggest you keep track of how much money each member collects and how much they are
expecting in matching gifts, in order to ensure that they receive the right prizes after the Walk.

Remind your team when the Walk starts and decide whether you want to meet there or meet
beforehand and carpool to the Walk.
Come early and enjoy the festivities.

Be sure to give each of your team members a big thank you from the Society.
