of our four walks depends on hardworking, dedicated volunteers just like you! We have
a variety of volunteer opportunities. Find the perfect job for you and help make Light

Tuesday, May 6th and Tuesday, July 1st ~ Phone Night ~ 4PM-8PM
September and October will be here before you know it! Please help us invite participants to the upcoming 2008 Walks!  The night will be broken down into 2-hour shifts to accommodate all volunteers. Phone calls will be made out of our chapter office located in Westmont. If you are interested in volunteering, please contact Sara Farley at 888.920.8557 ext. 204. 
             

• Prior to the walk~ Volunteers in the weeks and days before the walks are vital
  components in ensuring that each of the walks goes off without a hitch. Duties 
  may include assisting with follow-up phone calls, preparing mailings, balloon stuffing
  or loading the truck the day before the walk.
  
• Night of the walk ~Walk night volunteers help the evening run smoothly for the
  participants. This may include working at the registration tent, food booths and
  water stops; assisting with entertainment, photography, T-shirt and balloon distribution; 
  Walk route support, and the set-up and take-down of materials; or working as a greeter
  or on the finish line cheering squad.
