After being diagnosed with chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL) in February 2004, Julie became devoted to ending blood cancers. Instead of living passively with leukemia, she decided to fight back! With the help of her amazing father, she is now selling a number of products with unique graphics on them.
Products range from mugs to t-shirts and pins. Instead of a serious "find a cure" type of saying, these products say "Bad Blood Club-Devoted to Ending Blood Cancers" or "Leukemia Sucks." They are offered to those who have recently been diagnosed, as well as those who have been surviving for years, a way to gain a sense of empowerment.
