Fundraise Online!
  1. Register for Light The Night.  Click here, then follow the step-by-step instructions.  At the end of the registration process, click on the “Fundraise Online” icon.
  2. Get started!  After you have clicked the “fundraise online” icon you will be able to:
    •  Customize your online fundraising page.  While you don't have to customize in order to fundraise, you'll find that your page is even more powerful when it shares your personal connection with the cause and includes a photo or image.  Click the 'Customize My Webpage' tab to get started.
    • Use the Email Center to share your page with friends, family, and colleagues.  You’ll pick from our library of fundraising letters (or write your own), then begin fundraising by email.  (Note:  AOL and MSN email servers will not deliver messages sent from the Email Center.  To avoid this problem, email your friends and family with AOL and MSN addresses directly, including the link to your online fundraising page.)

  3. Send your request out to the world! 
    • Your friends and family will receive an email with a link to your personal
      fundraising page
    • After reading your reasons for participating, they will hit the “Make a Secure Online Donation” button
    • They may even decide to hit the "Tell A Friend" button and invite their friends to support you
  4. Watch your total grow!
    • When you receive an online donation:
      • You'll get an email telling you about it
      • Your online donation thermometer will grow automatically
    • Use your Campaign Center to:
      • Run fundraising reports
      • Track offline donations
      • Send additional fundraising and thank you emails
