Downtown Fort Lauderdale - Huizenga Plaza

Huizenga Plaza is a 1.8 acre park in the heart of downtown with a 150-seat amphitheater. It is on the southeast corner of Las Olas and Andrews Avenue.  Please see map below.

Interactive Fountain:

While at the Light The Night Walk make sure to check out the interactive fountain that mimicks the dynamics of the music.  When music is not playing, you can put your hand on top of the sensors around the fountain and the water will mimick your movements.

Parking

Las Olas Park Place

From I-95, take the Broward Boulevard exit east to Andrews Avenue.  Take Andrews Avenue south to Southwest Second Street.  Go west (right) at Southwest Second to Brickell Avenue.  At Brickell Avenue go south (left) into the Riverfront complex.  Follow the road beyond the valet parking area into the self-parking driveway on your right.  Parking is $2 for the first hour and $1 for each additional hour, and you pay as you exit the garage.

City Park Garage

From I-95, take the Broward Boulevard exit east to Southeast First Avenue.  Take Southeast First south approximately one and a half blocks.  The entrance to the garage will be on the east (left) side, across the street from the Broward County Main Library.  There are additional entrances on Southeast Second Street and Southeast Second Avenue.  Parking is $1 per hour, and you pay in advance at centralized meters.  (We recommend allowing yourself a minimum of four hours to avoid getting ticketed.)

Additional metered parking is available on streets near Huizenga Plaza, as well as at other public and private lots and garages throughout the downtown Fort Lauderdale area. Rates and hours of operation vary.
