Reach Your Goal!

All individuals raising funds will receive an illuminated balloon to carry during the Light The Night Walk!  All individuals raising $100 or more will receive a Light The Night t-shirt.  Raise a little bit more and you may be eligible for other incentive prizes.  Details on the 2008 incentive prizes are coming soon!

How your contributions help - Funds raised through the Walk events will:

  • Enable leading researchers to investigate causes, treatments and cures
  • Support government advocacy efforts to ensure attention to cancer-related issues
  • Create support assistance programs for patients and their families
  • Help educate health care professionals on the latest medical advances
  • Provide information to the general public on leukemia, lymphoma and myeloma
Tips to raise $300 in one week:
Day 1: Start by sponsoring yourself for $25.  Set up your personal Light The Night Walk web site and email your friends to sponsor you.
Day 2: Ask two family members to sponsor you for $25 each.
Day 3: Ask five friends to contribute $10 each.
Day 4: Ask five co-workers to sponsor you for $10 each.
Day 5: Ask five neighbors to contribute $10 each.
Day 6: Ask your boss for a company contribution of $50.
Day 7: Ask one business you frequent for $25.

The key is to ask!  The answer is always no, unless you ask! Have fun and good luck!  For additional assistance please contact Laura Kraubetz at laura.kraubetz@lls.org.
