Emmerson Webb

EmmeOn her last day of kindergarten, Emmersen "Emme" Webb's parents received an unexpected phone call, referring her to the Pediatric Oncology department. Soon afterward, Emme was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL) and underwent more than two years of chemotherapy. With the success of her treatment, Emme is now full of energy, much laughter and many smiles! She enjoys Friday Movie Night with her family, playing soccer with her friends and reading any book she gets in her hands. The Webb family is forever grateful for all the support and contributions from Emme's medical and extended families, friends, and The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.

Lea Morrison

LeaLea Morrison was thirty-two when she and her husband decided to start a family. Following a routine blood test at her obstetrician's office in 2006, Lea was diagnosed with chronic myelogenous leukemia (CML). She immediately began treatment, but after eighteen months of suboptimal results, she decided - with the help of doctors and family - to undergo a bone marrow transplant in 2007. Her unrelated donor was a perfect match, and she has been cancer free ever since! She is now the proud mother of a one year old son, Henry, and two gold retrievers, Kimo and Hutch. Lea is grateful to individuals who have fundraised and volunteered for The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society through hours of dedicated work.
