2018 Rocky Mountain Corporate Walk Chair
Chad Ochsner, RE/MAX Alliance
Chad Ochsner is the current Employing Broker of RE/MAX Alliance and a proud second generation REALTOR.
A Colorado native, Chad graduated from Arvada West High School and earned his Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate from Baylor University in 1995. He obtained his real estate license in 1997 and prior to joining the family brokerage business, worked in the title industry, mortgage industry, and as a commercial broker in Summit County.
Chad is a past director with the Colorado Association of Realtors, has served on the board of the REColorado (Denver MLS), the Denver Metro Association of Realtors, the Realtor.com Broker Advisory board, Trulia Broker Advisory board and past member of the Zillow Broker Advisory board.
Chad is a joint venture mortgage partner with Stearns Lending - a co-owner of Home Mortgage Alliance. He and his father Chuck are partners in Alliance Insurance Services, are active in land development and owners of 2 assisted living facilities in Golden and Arvada.
Chad represents RE/MAX Alliance throughout the year at various industry conferences and events often times offering up his experience and knowledge on a panel of his peers. He has been ranked on the Swaenpoel list of the most powerful people in Real Estate (2013- 2018), and one of the 100 most influential real estate executives by Real Estate Executive magazine. He received the RE/MAX mountain states Broker/Owner of the year award in 2005 and again in 2008.
Chad is married to Becca Ochsner and they currently live in Lakewood with their two very cute young daughters.
In 2013 Chad's father and business partner, Chuck, was diagnosed with non-hodgkins lymphoma. Like many families, after his father's diagnosis, Chad began learning and researching about the countless number of blood cancers that effect 1.2 million people in the U.S. Chad was connected to The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society in 2017 and immediately knew that it was the right decision to become involved with the Light The Night Walk. The Ochsner family feels like they are one of the lucky ones, and are happy to report that five years after Chuck's diagnosis, he remains healthy with no change in his symptoms. It was an easy decision for Chad to engage RE/MAX Alliance with Light The Night and he is dedicated to sharing the LLS mission with other corporations in the Denver Metro Area to fundraise for lifesaving cancer research.
Chad's favorite quote about charity comes from Winston Churchill, "We make a living by what we get, but we make a life by what we give."
