Walks are held rain or shine, but in case of extreme or unsafe conditions, this site will be updated and an email will be sent to all registered walkers by 3:00 pm with any cancellation information.

It is our goal in North Texas to raise $1 MILLION in 2012!!! ...and we can't do it without your help! Fundraising has begun and web pages for 2012 are active now! Register now for one of our 2012 Walks.
Light The Night is an evening fundraising Walk to celebrate and commemorate lives touched by blood cancer. More than a Walk, the evening has a carnival atmosphere and includes refreshments, entertainment, music and kids' activities. Walkers who raise $100 ore more are Champions for Cures and receive an illuminated balloon to carry through the 2-mile Walk.

All registered Light The Night Walkers who raise $100 (or more) between March 16th and May 28th will receive one free Fandango movie ticket. Raise $200 and you received 2 movie tickets. One ticket for ever $100 raised-pretty incredible! Raise money, fund research, see a movie!
Important Event Information
Fundraising: An illuminated balloon, an official Light The jnight t-shirt, and a wristband for refreshments will be profided to each walker that raises $100 or more and becomes a Champion for Cures.*
Walkers who raise less than $100 are welcome to attend and walk, but will not receive a balloon, t-shirt, or wristband for refreshments.
*All Cancer survivors in attendance are our honored guests and will receive a t-shirt, illuminated balloon and wristband for refreshments at the Walk regardless of the fundraising level.
Balloons:
Red: Carried by friends and supporters
White: Carried by cancer patients and survivors
Gold: Carried in memory of a lost loved one
