Walksite Guidelines
Light The Night is a fun and family friendly event. Strollers and wheelchairs are allowed but, for the saftey of walkers, skating, cycling and running are not allowed. Dogs will not be allowed inside the stadium at Werner Park or Haymarket Park.
Weather Information
The Walk will go on rain or shine, but if there is a threat of severe weather we may be forced to make changes to the original Walk plan. All team captains will be notified by phone, all registered participants will be sent an email and information will be posted on our website by 3:00 pm the day of the Walk.
Cancelation Information: If the Walks must be canceled they will be re-scheduled for the Sunday after the original scheduled Walk date. The times and location of the Walk will remain the same.

Thank you to everyone that came out to join us at Nebraska's 15th annual Light The Night Walks! Last years Walks hosted over 1,500 people, our largest Walks yet!
We are now working towards reaching our 2013 goal and we need your help! Many teams planning on fundraising by hosting events and by using their webpages. Help us reach our goal of raising $230,000 to help fund life saving research and profide services to local patients and their families.

This year, Omaha's Burlington Coat Factory raised a record breaking $9,419 for Light The Night! Thank you to everyone at Burlington Coat Factory and to everyone who purchased a balloon for your dedication and support.
Awards Party
Light The Night hosted its inaugural awards party on February 28, 2013 for our 2012 Walks. The awards party honored and celebrated the top fundraising teams, individuals and sponsors. Invitations for this event were sent to teams, individuals and volunteer who were then recognized for their dedication to Light The Night and their tremendous fundraising efforts.
