2009 Light The Night Walks Exceed Goal! 
$423,000

Thank you to all of the incredible Light The Night Walkers, donors, sponsors and volunteers who helped make this year's Walks the best yet! Our goal in Eastern NC was to raise $403,000. With your support, we raised even more life-saving funds and hit $423,000 that will be invested in research and patient services to benefit those battling blood cancers. Nationally, Light The Night Walks will raise $38 million in 2009 alone - Pretty incredible! Thank YOU for being a HERO in this fight! Because of you, we are able to offer more programs to our patients, fund more research and reach out to more newly diagnosed patients. Your support saves lives! We look forward to walking with you again in 2010!!

Event Schedule

5:30 p.m. - Teams & Walkers arrive to enjoy food, music, children's activities and more. Remember to take your team photo!

7 p.m. - Teams & Walkers gather at the stage for our opening Walk program.

7:15 p.m. - Teams & Walkers begin the 2-mile Walk through downtown and then return for dessert and final announcements.

Event will be held RAIN or SHINE!

Other Details

Fees - No fee to participate, but you must raise a minimum of $100 in order to receive a t-shirt and a ticket for dinner at the Walk.

T-shirt - Walkers are eligible for a Light The Night t-shirt once they have raised a minimum of $100.

Team Table - Teams that raise a minimum of $5,000 will have a Team Table at the Walk.

Team Tent - Teams that raise a minimum of $10,000 will have a Team Tent at the Walk.

Red Balloon = supporter
White Balloon = cancer survivor
Gold Balloon = in memory of a loved one lost
