Anthony Adams

Anthony is an active 7-year old who loves Star Wars and Harry Potter.  Anthony was born in Charlotte in 2002 and has younger twin siblings.  When he was just 2-years old he began to suffer from a variety of illnesses topped off with a Christmas where he was not even interested in playing with his new toys! 

Anthony's parents took him to the doctor for his fourth visit in three months and he was quickly diagnosed with Acute Lymphocytic Leukemia (ALL).  Anthony was swiftly taken to the hospital and put into treatment.  Fortunately, Anthony responded quickly and has since completed his protocol.

Anthony is in the first grade at Chantilly Montessori, and he loves writing and math.  He also has lots of friends, as well as two fish, a puppy and a cat to keep him busy these days.

Evie Baxley 

Evie is a 6-year old little girl who lives in Greensboro with mom, dad, four sisters and one brother.  She was diagnosed with ALL on June 19, 2007.  Evie is currently undergoing treatment at Brenner Children's hospital.  She is homeschooled and in the first grade.

Evie is a little princess.  She likes to play dress up with her sisters.  She also loves to play with her Barbie's.  Last year she got to go to Disney World through Make-A-Wish...her wish was to meet a princess!  It was a wonderful trip, and when she met the Princesses it was a very special moment.  Evie is full of life; she loves to sing and dance and is always doing something to make her family laugh.
