 Harry M Walker

 Harry Walker, President of Jackson- Metro Trustmark National Bank  

 has signed on as corporate chair 

 of  the 2009 Light the Night Walk.

 

 Since 1972, Harry Walker has 

 worked for Jackson-based 

  Trustmark Nation Bank, now Jackson Metro president.  During  

  his thirty-seven year career, Harry has served the bank in

  various capacities including Executive Vice President and Chief

  Lending Officer, Real Estate Department Manager, and Head of

  Municipal Investments in the Investment Department.

 

  From his earliest days, Harry has achieved high honors.  He is

  a 1972 graduate of the University of Southern Mississippi with

  a B.S. in Banking and Finance and a graduate of the M.B.A.

  program in the School of Business at Mississippi College.  He

  holds Graduate Certificates from the LSU School of Banking of

  the South and the University of Oklahoma Commercial Lending

  School.  In addition, Harry has received the Basic, Standard and

  Advanced Certificates from the American Institute of Banking. 

  Harry has served his profession recently as Chairman of the

  Mississippi Bankers Association.

 

  Walker's attributes abound and his ties to both civic and

  community involvement are noteworthy. The Leukemia &

  Lymphoma Society is pleased to be among them. 

 

  Harry and his wife, Deery Mott Walker, have been married since

  1977 and reside in Jackson.  They have two grown children, 

  Anna and William.
