Jackson Walk 2009 Results

It was a beautiful night as Jackson and neighboring Mississippi city residents turned out for the annual Light The Night^® Walk on September 26^th at Trustmark Park.  Teams of co-workers, families and friends came out to help build awareness about the more than 913,000 people in the United States living with a blood cancer and the many thousands more who have lost the battle.

The Walk, which raises funds for critical research and patient education and support, was a celebration, complete with music, refreshments and family activities. Kids and adults alike enjoyed The Mandalorians dressed as Star Wars characters.  With the Brandon Drumline and cheerleaders leading the way, participants walked together in twilight holding illuminated balloons, white for survivors, red for supporters and gold to remember those who have died.
