2010 Local Leadership Opportunities
We are currently seeking volunteer corporate leaders for the 2010 Light The Night Walk. Our Corporate Walk Chair position provides leadership for the Light The Night campaign, generates revenue through the recruitment of new corporate sponsors and teams, and endorses Light The Night within their company. Members of our Executive Committee assist the Light The Night Staff in recruiting new corporate teams, sponsorship and promoting of the Light The Night Walk within their companies. 2009 Corporate Walk Chair
Jim Oricchio, Co-Founder and President
Coordinated Business Systems, Ltd. of Minnesota
Jim and his employees became involved with Light The Night in 2008, participating in the Walk as a corporate sponsor and a team. Jim was moved to support The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society due to his personal connections to the mission. He lost his first sales manager and close friend to leukemia 17 years ago. "A number of employees at Coordinated have family members who have been affected by blood cancers, as well," said Jim. This year, the Coordinated Business Systems team will raise funds and walk in honor of one of their current vendors, who has been diagnosed with leukemia, and in memory of Jim's first sales manager.
Over the years, Coordinated has been recognized for its excellence in servicing its customers and for being extensively involved with local community organizations. "Light The Night is a great way to build a spirit of caring and cooperation among employees as they help others," said Jim. "I am honored to serve as the chair and look forward to encouraging commitment from local businesses and corporations."
