Ed started his career with GM in 1984 as a Cadillac sales representative and has held a number of sales and marketing management positions since then, including VP of Sales for Saab Cars, USA and the Regional General Manager for GM in the Northeast Region. A native of Detroit, Ed received his Bachelor of Arts from Hillsdale College and MBA from the University of Chicago. He is a strong supporter of Detroit's Cornerstone Schools and several other national charities. His department led a team at the 2012 Metro Detroit Walk and raised over $28,000 - earning them the title of Top Michigan Fundraising Team in 2012. He walks in memory of both of his parents who lost their battles to cancer.

Teckla began her career with GM two years after graduating from College for Creative Studies' Industrial Design program in 1981. In her position today, she focuses on building a global relationship with the GM teams around the world and oversees many different aspects of design, including exhibit, environmental, corporate identify and product & merchandising design. Teckla serves on the board of directors for Historic
Trinity, Inc., Museum of Contemporary Art Detroit and has served on LLS's board for over 25 years, including being the past chairman of the National Board. She is looking forward to her role this year as Co-Chair for the Metro Detroit Walk and bringing more GM teams into the effort to fight blood cancers.

Doug is the Acute Care Medicine Dept. Chief and
Pre-Operative Assessment Center Medical Director at Spectrum Health Care. He attended Lansing Community College, Grand Valley State University and Saba University School of Medicine and completed his residency program at MSU in Grand Rapids. Doug is a husband and father of two twin girls, age nine. Doug?s wife, Marcie, has a friend who, after being diagnosed with breast cancer, developed acute lymphoblastic leukemia, which she is currently in remission from.
