Gold Balloons
In addition to red balloons signifying supporters and white balloons signifying patients and survivors, the Massachusetts Chapter will be introducing a gold balloon to commemorate lives lost to a blood cancer--an estimated 52,910 deaths in 2008 alone. While we strive to improve the quality of life of today's patients and their families, The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society also remembers those who have lost their battle. Each team walking in memory of someone can receive one gold balloon for their team. Individual walkers, who are not part of a team, who are walking in memory of someone may receive a gold balloon as well. Team Captains and individual walkers MUST RSVP for their gold balloon.

2009 Light The Night Kickoff
Fenway Park, August 15th, 11:00 - 1:00pm
Join the 2009 Light The Night All-Star roster as we prepare to hit this season out of the park! Line-up includes lunch with fellow Light The Night participants, honored heroes, local walk leaders, and staff. Walk away with the tools and materials to make you a successful fundraising participant.
