Light The Night could not be possible without the hundreds of volunteers that donate their time and energy. We greatly appreciate our volunteers, and hope you will join us this year!
Pre-Event Volunteers
Support is needed throughout the year. Opportunities include mailings, stuffing packets, filing, phone support, collating and other general office support.
Night-of-Event Volunteers
As you can imagine, it takes a tremendous number of volunteers to make the Light The Night Walk run smoothly. Volunteers are needed to assist in areas such as: set-up and break-down, check-in, cheer stations, water stops, route guides, team photos, mission tent, incentives and other areas. Internships
Internships with the Light The Night Walk means participating in the fastest growing signature fundraising walk in the United States. Last year, more than 200,000 people in approximately 250 communities across the United States and Canada participated in a Light The Night Walk event. In the Greater Los Angeles area, we host three different walks to serve the Los Angeles market.
This is an ideal position for a candidate interested in pursuing a career in non-profit, event coordination and management, and/or public relations.
